The already superb sailing characteristics and performance of the regular FAREAST 18 have been extended into a compact racing version – FAREAST 18R – with a completely new deck, and deck gear layout optimized for racing.

Equipped with an open deck, the Harken gear and Selden riggings, FAREAST 18R offers excellent performance. The design of its 280 kilogram keel greatly improves its stability and safety. Reasonably designed, it breaks the limits of length of the hull to the functional performance, achieving a beautiful hull shape, easy handling, and the excellent performance of racing sailboats, making it outstanding among sailboats of similar size.
