The Hammar 160 is a proven sidelifter model, designed with simplicity and reliability in mind. With 36 tonnes lifting capacity it can easily handle fully loaded containers.
It has the lowest tare weight on the market for any sidelifter model with a lifting capacity over 30 tonnes, from 7.1 tonnes with 20’-40’ capacity and 3 axles.
The support legs move in a fixed arc and can be placed in two positions: on ground level or on top of a companion chassis or railroad wagon. The Hammar 160 is the best choice when you want to maximize your payload. It is excellent at lifting to/from the ground, and works well when transferring to/from some companion chassis.
