Both designs consist of two high quality, tough roto moulded Polyethylene half buoys bolted together. The split design provides two independent, fully enclosed chambers greatly increasing buoyancy integrity and removes the need for additional internal foaming.The “direct connect” design gives instant access to the actual mooring line without any need to haul anything wet, dirty or heavy out of the water. Dish Top HIGHBUOY. HIGHBUOY mooring buoys have been designed to provide direct connection to the top mooring line and chain via an integral heavy duty diamond shackle plate. The split design provides two independent buoyancy chambers providing residual buoyancy and integrity without the need for additional foaming. Interlocking float sections reduce the number of fasteners required which in turn provides easy access to mooring lines, shackles and swivels. SUPER TOUGH ROTO-MOULDED POLYETHYLENE SHELL UNIQUE DOUBLE BUOYANCY CHAMBER DESIGN The double chamber design not only provides superior buoyancy but also allows for easy access for maintenance and checks STRONG INTEGRATED DIRECT MOORING POINT The mooring line is directly connected to the strong lower base plate therefore there is no need to haul anything out of the water MOORING LINE ANTI-WEAR BEARING The top mooring line can rotate in the rope channel and is protected from wear using super tough low friction HDPE bearing (choice of slot or hole type bearing) INTERNAL TACKLE CHAMBER Shackles, thimbles, splices and swivels can all be utilised as required and protected within the internal tackle chamber |
